Circular Saw Blades

Circular Saw Blades

Our comprehensive range of TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) circular saw blades are suitable for most professional circular saws, mitresaws and bench saws. If the bore size shown is not the size for your particular saw, the use of the reducing bushes supplied with the blade(where applicable) will normally enable the blade to be used. It is vital for the safety of the operator to ensure BEFORE USE that the blade flange nut covers the initial bore size adequately on your particular saw.

BLADE APPLICATIONS

Thin Kerf:  Thin Kerf blades are designed specifically for use with cordless machines. The body and tip width is reduced to aid longer usage periods before recharging batteries.  Rip Cut:  Rip Cut blades are fully hardened polished body blades with fish hook expansion slots and a limited number of teeth. For fast rough cutting in wood with the grain.  Combination Cut:  Combination Cut blades are fully hardened polished body blades with fish hook expansion slots and a medium number of teeth. For use in general purpose wood cutting applications and some board materials. The best 'all round' blade for the occasional user. Cross Cut:  Cross Cut blades are fully hardened polished body blades with a high density of teeth. For use in wood cutting applications particularly across the grain, also plywood and MDF.  Negative Hook:  Negative Hook blades have a negative or zero degree tooth angle, designed to avoid clawback and a high density of teeth. Fully hardened polished body with fish hook expansion slots for cleaner, quiter and more efficient cutting. Especially suitable for use on Mitre saws when cutting pre-finished veneered materials.  Triple Chip Ground:  Triple Chip Ground blades have a special tooth configuration for precise clean cutting of laminates, plastics and any pre-finished board materials. High teeth density, fully hardened polished body with fish hook expansion slots for heat dissipation. Hook angle and grind gives better swarf clearance.  Nailed Wood:  Nailed Wood blades have a fully hardened body withan anti-friction coating for improved performance with less build up of heat and resins which lead to blade corrosion. Flat top ground teeth especially useful for cutting pallets, floorboards and any other material where nails may be encountered.
